Some houses in Hamtramck have tested positive for higher levels of lead. The city has posted a list of questions and answers for residents. Please read those questions and consider calling the city to request testing for your house.

The Detroit Public Library is a stunning, free space and just on Woodward near Wayne State University. Don’t forget about the free events that are happening this weekend.

Don’t forget Eastern Market, Lots great food, beautiful murals, and plenty of people to speak to in English.

Lastly, if you are adventurous and have a little money,  you can climb among the trees in West Bloomfield at TreeRunner Adventure Park.
